Millers Creek Christian School


 

The school board is pleased to announce that Mrs. Laura Sturgill has been hired as the new principal for Millers Creek Christian School. Mrs. Sturgill officially will begin her duties on August 5, 2019 and will start the transition to MCCS immediately. She is excited about her new role and looking forward to the opportunity to meet the staff, students, and parents.

 

Mrs. Sturgill is a Wilkes County resident and has served as a high school social studies teacher, EC teacher, and administrative intern. She completed the 2018-2019 school year as an EC program specialist for Davie County Schools.

 

Mrs. Sturgill has an undergraduate degree in history and a master’s degree in secondary education from Christopher Newport University in VA and a master’s degree in School Administration from ASU.

 

We offer our congratulations and support to Mrs. Sturgill and pray God’s blessings on her and her family as she prepares to begin a new chapter here at Millers Creek.
