Children

At Millers Creek Baptist, we want children to experience Jesus in a real way each day as they learn and grow to know Him more. Our weekly opportunities and special events serve to create an environment where Jesus is worshiped in an accessible and life-changing way for preschool through 6th grade children.

Weekly Opportunities

Sunday School (all ages) 9:45am

Route252 Kids (K-6th) Sundays 6:30pm in Gym

Route252 Kids

Weekly meeting from 6:30-8pm on Sunday evenings in the Gym Route252 is a special time of learning, worship, and play for kids ages 5-12 on Sunday evenings. This time includes free play in the gym, a snack, and interactive lessons and games in the Kove, the kids’ very own learning space in the gym. Parents are welcome to stay and help out. Come join us! The focus of this time is building relationships that last: a relationship with Jesus and relationships with friends.

Worship for Life: Kids

Worship for Life: Kids is a special time of learning, worship, and fun for kids ages 4-10 during our morning worship services. Kids are dismissed during the main service and enjoy fun videos, games, and learning based on Scripture. Currently, children are being taught from the What’s In the Bible video curriculum which goes through the entire Bible in a year!

Missions Groups

Weekly meeting at 7pm on Wednesdays

Royal Ambassadors (RAs) & Girls in Action (GAs)

The RAs are boys 1st-6th grade who learn about missions and participate in local and international missions projects throughout the year. Some projects include raising a garden for H.O.P.E ministries, building bird-houses for widows and shut-ins, or collecting items to donate to missions. Some of their events include a father-son camp-out on the church property and the annual RA Pinewood Derby. The GAs learn about missions around the world and participate in many projects throughout the year to support local or international missions efforts. Some of the projects and activities they do include singing and taking crafts to the nursing homes and creating Christmas gifts for widows and shut-ins.

Mission Friends

The Mission Friends group is for girls and boys ages 3-Kindergarten and they meet at the same time as RAs and GAs. Mission Friends is an introduction to mission work around the world, and children play games, learn songs, and do crafts centered around sharing the gospel and helping missionaries around the world.
