Shannon came to Millers Creek in 1994 as Youth and Children's Pastor and was called to be the Senior Pastor in 2011. He and his wife Leigh Ann have four children: Braxton, Bethany, Sydni, and Josiah, and his passion for God's Word and his love for the people of this community are evident in the way he teaches, cares for, and disciples the people of Millers Creek Baptist each week.
Children & Discipleship Pastor
Jared came to Millers Creek in July of 2012, and he loves spending time with family, playing guitar and mandolin, and pulling for the St. Louis Cardinals. He has a passion for God's Word and seeing parents disciple their children and nurture faith at home. He attended Liberty University (M.Div) and he and his wife Beth have two daughters Abby and Ella.
Greg came to Millers Creek in June of 2016, and he has a passion for leading the church into authentic worship of Jesus Christ as one body of believers. He enjoys spending time with his family and pulling for the UNC Tarheels. He and his wife Lisa have four children: Caleb, Hannah, Joshua, and Aaron. Greg studied at Gardner Webb University and is currently pursuing a Master's through Florida Baptist College.
Melissa enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren, her husband, and watching classic Westerns. She is kind-hearted and loves managing the office and caring for the people of Millers Creek. Melissa has served the church since 1998.
David enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and church family. He has been an active part of the church and community for many years and now serves as the custodian and grounds-keeper by maintaining a safe and clean environment for the church and school. David has served the church since 2014, and he and his wife Cathy have three grown children Chad, Asleigh, and Tanner.
Roy had served in the public school system as a teacher and assistant principal before coming to Millers Creek Christian School. He has a passion for the gospel and for delivering authentic Christian education to the surrounding community and making an impact into the lives of his students. Roy has been principal since January of 2016 and holds degrees from Appalachian State and Western Carolina; he and his wife Marie have one son, Paulie.
